Some music plays properly, and some don't (rear speakers Quadraphonic)
Hi everyone,
I have noticed something a little strange when playing different music files.
I have two different mp3 files, one plays through all speakers equally, and the other sends a quiet kind of muffled sound with a reverb kind of effect to it.
I'm wondering why some music plays full through all speakers, but others come out as mentioned above.

Hello everyone.
My pc has an ASUS Z170-AR Motherboard with the integrated realtek audio.
At the moment this is what I am using.
However, I have an ASUS XONAR DG sound card laying around from an old build.
Should I use this in my PC or will it not make a difference?? Will i get clearer sound?
I think the xonar has a built in headphone amp? I don't know much about the onboard audio.

Windows seems to load okay but any program take 30 minutes to load

I have an old laptop running on Windows 7 Home. A few days ago, it started acting up.
It seems to load quickly as the icons come up fast. But when I double click a program, be it win explorer, chrome or even just to change the date/time on calendar for example, it takes 30 minutes before the program shows up.

New install - smooth updates
Just wanted to say how well Windows updates seem to be installing in the old way these days. Ie just leaving it to do updates. Just clean installed (reinstall) on my little Eee PC 701sd today. Started at 11 am. Didnt start updates till about 2pm and theyve nearly finished. Had the same experience about a month ago. I was on the internet when my internet quit. I checked all connections. I contacted ATT and they checked out my WiFi. Everything is fine. I can get on the internet with my backup computer, bur not with my main computer. I switched WiFi cards and it did not make any difference. Anybody got any ideas?

Solved Error 0x80042308 when trying to create restore point
Hi,
I have a Lenovo i5 laptop with W7 64 bits. When I try to create a restore point I either get the error above or I get a success message. But in both cases no restore point is created when I check with Windows.
I did a lot of searches and already tried this to no avail:
- System restore off/on
- Volume Shadow Copy service off/on
- chkdsk /f

Text line height squished?
I'm having this odd issue on my Windows 7 laptop where the text looks like it's squished a little bit vertically, so it looks wider than it looks tall. It's kind of a reading issue, is apparent on most apps I use (and there's some inconsistency there compared to other computers) and other computers I'm using don't have this problem.

Windows Live Mail deleting emails
Hello
I have a WIN7 laptop with windows live mail 2012 on it and other than microsoft outlook which i don't want to use for my personal account i haven't found an email client as easy to use. It works okay but it is deleting my emails from the server.
