mouse issue
hello for a few months now ive been having his issue with my lenovo W520 on win 7... somehow mouse right clicking will not work anymore... if i go in otlook and i click on book marks, alll the book marks open... i can change the mouse to other usd port same issue... seems to happend when the computer lock when its not being used any more... tried reinstaling the drivers... nothing fixes it.......

Cant backup a network mapped location
Maybe Im going crazy, but I vividly recall being able to see my networked drives in windows backup as sources. Now only my local drives show up. My problem is that all of my files are housed on a Zfs server and I want to make a backup. Am I crazy? Did something change in windows 7 so we cant do this any longer?

Laptop won't shut down and "Driver Power State Failure" Bluescreen
Hey guys,
recently I am having problems shutting down my Laptop. I gets stuck in the "shutting down.." loading screen.
After about 30 to 60 minutes this eventually results in the Bluescreen "Driver Power State Failure".
A normal shutdown happens only maybe 2 out of 10 times.

Time was ALWAYS 2 minutes slow when internet time sync set to ON
I put up with this for years.
I decided to turn off the synchronize time setting, manually set the clock, and now it is consistently about right now.
So why was sync time always slow? It never worked except to delay the time consistently perfectly 2 minutes slow.

Compressed Zip Folder Error

I have downloaded a course I'm doing which has come as a compressed zip folder with MP4 files in it. Many of the MP4 files open to play in WMP with no problem. But other MP4s come up with an error message "The destination path is too long. Rename the compressed zip folder and try again." However, when I 'right click' there is no option to rename.

Problem burning music CD's
I've done this procedure, problem-free, maybe 50 times before with the same program. This is puzzling:
-I have 19 MP3's on my computer. I opened BurnAwareFree, selected "Audio CD" dragged all the files to the window and burned. When done, they're all 1 KB cda's, not MP3's, and the titles are gone. The date of recording is 12/01/1994, impossible for Dinah, and definitely not today's date. ...

Why does my modem always have to reboot twice?
System - Windows 7 -64 bit OS, 1.86 GHz CPU, 3 GB RAM
I have a Motorola Surfboard modem and cable Internet service. When there's a power outage or I just want to re-set the modem, when it boots up, it gets to the PC Activity light (circled in the attached photo) and blinks like maybe 30 times, then all the lights go off, then it starts booting up again.
