Extra user folder
I somehow have two user names: Mike's and Mikes. I don't need the one call Mike's. If I go to My Documents on Word or Excel, it goes to the Mike's folder instead of the Mikes folder. (Sorry, they are so similar). I think it relates to a network sharing I established but no longer need. How can I make it go to the correct folder? I tried disabling the network but that just lost my internet...

Wierd Things Going On
OS is up to date. Downloaded virus definition file yesterday.
Have checked system for virus / malware and comes back OK.
Today I've had:
1) Multiple mouse clicks when I clicked only once.
Cleaned optical mouse (dust near optical).
2) Noticed my font size has changed both for Firefox and MessageBox for some
programs I've written.

Excel 2013 error with OLE

MiniTool clone cannot boot up
I used MiniTool Partition Wizard to clone/copy my system to a newly installed hard drive.
I now have three hard drives installed, all identical in all aspects regarding manufacturer, model, size, speed, etc.
The copy/clone ran fine and took about fours hours. I can view/read all on the new hard drive.
When swopping out to check if I can boot up via the new hard drive it's a no go.

BSOD after idling, Bugcheck code: 0x7A Error: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR
Scenario: Came back to the computer after about 3 hours of idling and tried to go onto the internet via google chrome, at this point the PC locked up and crashed with giving a BSOD. Whocrashed showed the following error. Please note I have added chkdsk logs as well.

Cant install microsoft windows SDK
Im trying to install the SDK to get access to the windbg program which is supposed to let me open and read .dmp crash files.
But the installer keeps failing with this message in the log : vcredist_x64.exe installation failed with return code 5100.
I googled and the solutions I found were to uninstall all other versions of visual basic c++ 2010...but I have done that and the installer still...

Is there here a tutorial or a full discussion topic regarding this? It is my understanding that this function 'refreshes' the computer, especially when one is always installing and removing drives, especially various & varied usb drives over time.

Solved Wireless Mouse Cursor Missing - A Simple Solution
This morning my wireless mouse cursor suddenly disappeared.
I recalled that it is an HP x4000 series wireless.
First I tried the "connect" button on the bottom to no avail.
Then I used the "on/off button" and turned it off and back on and cursor reappeared.
The top hits to my searches for fixes to this problem called for far more elaborate processes.

Outlook 2016 pasted text turns to underlined green
Pasted text into a a draft Outlook 2016 message (html) turns to underlined green - even when pasting without formatting (after saving).
This problem is evident either side of an online update to Office 2016 Pro [currently Version 1807 (Build 10325.20118 Click-to-Run)]. Win 7 Pro x64
Any suggestions to avoid this unwanted formatting would be much appreciated.

Solved Windows hangs when closing or shutting down
not sure what happened after an Avast up software update and the latest August m$ updates over the weekend, including Office 2010 x64.
Excel will open but on close/shutdown, excel.exe still running in background.
MS Access will open but not shut down
Task manager will not close
Windows on shutdown doesn't get past logging off screen
have to power off to reboot the laptop

Odd download behaviour
I am running windows 7 pro 64bit and I use Internet Download manager to download files etc. Recently I have noted that a download commences fine at the max speed obtainable depending on time of day and around about 60-90% through the download it slows to almost ADSL speed.
