Firefox Still Becoming Slow with Use
As the day progresses, the Firefox on my system (62.0.3) gets slower and slower to respond. Facebook takes some time to load and I get hesitations on sites that use Flash Player. Sometimes closing the browser and re-starting it helps, but not always, and why should I have to keep doing that? I notice in Task Manager that when Firefox is running, there are 6 processes (see attached screen shot)....

Unable to mount images using daemon tools - Error: Access Denied

Unknown Device (HP 3D Driveguard) 'Removal'

Not sure what subforum this belongs so I'll ask here.
I'm thinking about getting a 7700k which is a Kaby Lake CPU. Is there anything I need to know in order to use that CPU in Win 7 other than the fact updates won't work without a hack? I don't care about updates since I really don't use them.

Missing Driver when downgrading from W10 to W7Pro?

Getting a black screen from both external and onboard gpu

So like the headline says, I'm getting a black screen from both external and onboard gpu. Sometimes the pc will just work (even for days) but mostly, when I try to turn it on I get black screen from both outputs. Funny thing is that after turning it on, I can log in via teamviewer and the pc works flawlessly. Usually, after plugging it off the wall and turning the power supply on and off...

Win7 are installed again, again and again - error only in log
I already tried to install the updates one by one. Installing does not throw any error, but they are not installed. Last time I used wsusoffline where I can see that the same updates are installed again each time.

Solved Windows 7 installation error: 'The computer restarted unexpectedly...'

Pale Blue Screen with active cursor after logon & Welcome screen

Difference is that my system stacks for about 100 seconds to this "blue screen" and then the desktop loads normally.

Chrome and Firefox not connecting to some sites?
Hi, so the other day chrome stopped loading i.e. avforums.com with the message
This site cant be reached
so I tried Firefox and got
Secure Connection Failed
now these browsers are becoming selective over which websites they'll connect to.
I ended up using Explorer and got avforums.com to load as with some of the other sites the other two won't connect to any more.
Any ideas for a fix?...

Adobe Reader Stopping Update-2
Recently i disabled the Adobe Acrobat DC Update Service to stop downloading new versions
Before stopping the status of this service was: Automatic
I changed it to: Disabled
After some days i found that Adobe again was trying to update their product
I again checked the status of the service and i found that it was again: Automatic

Re-Enabling Admin disabled USB ports on Windows 7 HP notebook
Specifications:
HP 2000 Notebook PC. Windows 7 (64 bit).
My office laptop had typical restrictions of USB ports being blocked, etc.
Now I bought the laptop from my company for my personal use but the USB port restrictions are still in place.
How do I remove these restrictions?

Video playback is jittery, what could be causing this?
I have 2 older Dell Studio laptops I stream my ISO, x264 and other videos with. I have tried VLC, Power DVD and 5kPlayer, same results
Seems to be decent with MP4, X264 and other small files but when I load a bigger (30 GB+) ISO file, this is where I see the main problem

Solved Pesky Windows Security stopping email account logon
Old age and amnesia overwhelmeth. Which means I can't remember the fix for the blasted Windows Security email account logon, where the stupid window pops up asking for User Name and Password with a check box to "Remember my credentials" only. . . it doesn't. You fill in the required fields. But Windows Security continues to repeatedly block logon to that account.
I'm running good ol' Windows...
