My chore is to remove the icon and the associated malware that my grandmother has allowed the scammers to download. She also gave them remote access to her computer and I want to make sure that is gone.
When I right click on the icon there is no "uninstall" option, of course.
I don't want to left click on it (execute it) because God only knows what it would do then.

Mac Keyboard on windows 7 - cant change admin password
Greetings to all,
I have an embarrassing problem and I hope a kind soul can help me out. I am using a mac keyboard with swedish language and during install of windows 7 a picked a password with @ in it.
This at symbol was done by pressing cmd key and key 2.
However when I login in and want to change the password I cant use cmd and key 2 (this opens a new window) but I have to use alt + 2...

Windows 7 Update stuck at 35%
After doing a disk clean job and rebooting , Windows is stuck first at 100% installing updates , then I forced a shutdown , now its stuck at 35% complete. What to do? Instead of messing around with repair can I just restore using a Macrium Image I made of the computer prior to using the disk clean tool ?

Getting A Kyocera Printer To Work with Win 7
I have an old Kyocera laserjet FS 600 printer which came out in 1999. This was before USB ports became a standard feature on PCs, so it just has an old parallel LPT port, or a DB25 as they were known. Whenever I needed to print anything I'd connect it to my old PC running Windows 2000 and it would print fine.

How to recover old skype messages?
I use skype and im trying to look at old conversations i have with a specific user. I want to go back 2 years or so but it seem to only go back 14 months. Is there a way i can view my old conversations all the way back there or even before that?

Unable to open google search or facebook
To make it short - I have the latest FF & Chrome version installed.
Everything was fine until yesterday evening, suddenly when Facebook stopped opening up on FF, thought it was their usual downtime thing & tried to open the site after 4-5 hrs, still same issue - I get an blank page.

Selective black icons in explorer and themes

Explorer window file path/search toolbar won't unlock
I'm on Win 7 64bit, and my Explorer windows always have the file path section at the top left adjusted too small with the Search bar on the right being much too long.
