Hello, i successfully installed Windows 7 x64 Pro (with USB 3.0 drivers) on my Xiaomi Air BUT during initial boot, it hangs on "setting is updating registry". If i try safe boot, it hangs on "CLASSPNP.SYS"; what could be causing this? The laptop has a NVME SSD BUT i installed a SATA SSD in the second slot, so it shouldn't be related.. Of course i searched. Need help looking for USB WiFi adapter for windows 7 home premium
I have searched every where to look for a right USB WiFi adapter for my emachines windows 7 home premium desktop. I currently use ATT uverse internet and I cannot use a cable because the desktop is in another room. Any suggestions on adapters and can you recommend that I can go a cheap route that is efficient or not? Thank you!

User Profile won't load
Have a friend's Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit custom built desktop. Has 2 hdds. She has her business photos backed up but would love access again to her photo editing programs, etc. Possibly after an update a new user profile appeared. She can't logon to hers or the new one now. Is Bigger Buffer Size Important to SSDs?
Hi all, just wondering. When comparing 2 SSDs for performance, is the buffer size really any indication at all. Because I noticed some older SSDs (few years old) newly sata III 6GBps-capable, they already have 64mb but after checking the specs of some award-winning 2018 SSDs with much faster read/write speeds, they only have 32.

Unable To Send Files/Photos From Albums To DVD/Disc Drive
Not sure if this is the right section, apologies if it's not. When I try to send a file or photo to be burnt onto the DVD, it doesn't work. I right click on the file/photo I want to send to the DVD drive, and click on 'Send to > DVD RW Drive (F:)'.
I then get a box in the middle of the screen saying 'Windows Explorer has stopped working - Windows is checking for a solution to the problem'...

in starting up, i cant get past the color blue screen with leaf

Where's disk space going??
Hi there one and all. New to the forum. I have a laptop with a solid state drive. Says 111G.
Went to the C drive and added all the different things like windows, prog' files etc. All up it came to about 83Gb. Windows being 30.6Gb. Looking at disk space it says 13.8 of 111 empty. That makes 97.2Gb. Not the 83Gb. No doubt there are hidden files and some memory set aside.
