Used Farbar Recovery Scan Tool, trouble making fixlist.txt file
Hi, I removed a virus using Windows Defender Offline, and now can't start Windows. Following other threads, I downloaded Farbar Recovery Scan Tool on a clean computer to a flash drive, did a scan and have a FRST.txt file. From this I'm supposed to create a fixlist.txt file, but I have no idea what to use from the FRST.txt file. I would greatly appreciate any help!

Error the path not found at X:Sources> /FixMbr command prompt
My boot record needs replacement. I have given the bootrec command from the install CD a few times now and get the disk not found error. Is this drive beyond boot repair? Would one of the tools like the NTDLeader tool or Hirens etc at least recognize the HD?

Samsung UN43J5200AF Monitor Driver
Yesterday, I upgraded my existing Samsung monitor to a new one, model UN43J5200AF. My Win7 HP x64 recognized the old monitor, yet continues to see this one only as a Generic pnp monitor. Command Prompt Color - Registry setting doesn't work for this combo.
Here's an anomaly.
In my W7 Ultimate Administrator Command Prompt, I'm trying to set the colors as follows:
Screen Background: 192, 192, 192
Screen Text: 0, 0, 255
You can see the selection area by right-clicking the Title Bar (or the little black box at top left) and clicking Properties or Defaults.
My preference (RGB numbers above) is a light gray background with bright blue text.

External Drive shows full, but only small file sizes visable
Hi guys!
Having a little issue with my 1TB samsung M3 eternal HD.
Windows explorer show that there is only 273 GBs free space, however when looking through the folders on the drive I have one folder which is 208GB and then 3 other folders the biggest being 214mb.
Now my maths isnt the best but im sure I should have more that 270GB free!

Would changing compatibility settings increase performance?
"Run in 256 colors" This sounds like less complex textures so better frames.
"Run in 640x480" I know for a fact that this helps performance, but you can almost count the pixels on your screen because of how crap it looks.

Can't enable services - Not Responding

Solved Context menu requires click to show submenu
Hello,
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.
Suddenly, I noticed that submenus for items such as 'Send to', 'Open with' etc have no submenu when the mouse hovers over those items. While looking for the problem on the internet I noticed that if I click on those entries the submenus would open.
I don't know what I did, but I would like to get back the default behaviour.
Any ideas where to look?...
