I have a system that reports errors when I open Task Scheduler..."the program/task is corrupted....."
I've traced these down to two media center issues. Rather than mess with the registry/and/or manually search and delete the offending modules in Windows...is there a Media Center "repair install" or other method to correct these re-occurring Media Center task errors in Task Scheduler" ?

Win7 64 bit cant open Jpeg dvd/cd I made w/ Xp Home??
Hi,
Need some help if possible. years back around 07 I put jpeg as well as made SVCD videos and slideshows when I had a XP machine using nero as well as just burning photos to dvd and cd's.
Now that I need them when I put them on my Win7 64bit machine they just do not recognize the disc, it just says drag and drop files to disc.
If I try the media in a old XP machine I can open it!

Supposed BSOD when launching any game application
I've had my computer for some time now, A slightly modified HP PC. Threw in an NVIDIA GeForce 610 and a 500GB Hard drive and all was set for it to be used as a light gaming computer. Help me to install Windows 7 onto 128GB Flash Drive!!!!!!!!
I have HP Netbook with only 15GB SSHD. That's not enough for clean Windows 7 installation. Hopefully this model ha internal usb slot, where I inserted 128GB pen drive. Now I want install Windows 7 to the 128GB drive. But installation process give me option to install Windows only on Drive0 witch is 15GB SSHD. It does not see 128GB "removable drive"!!!! Please Help!!:(

Mouse works in BIOS,does not work in Windows 7

Clock advances 7 hours once or twice per week
I've noticed recently that my computer time clock advances itself about 7 hours sometimes once a week or twice a week. It is set to the correct Time Zone(Pacific Time) and the CMOS Battery measures 3.05 volts. I have no gadgets on the desktop running. So, what could be causing this changing of time randomly? Windows Explorer hangs, freezes, then crashes

Hard drive acting funny and will not defrag.
When I try using Auslogic Bootspeed defragmentation the following error occurs: "Your disk might contain errors. Run the check disk tool to check the volume for errors and fix them. However when I do it freezes up at stage for 62% I believe.
I have also tried using sfc/scannow and it says "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service."

Help & Advice Sought For Overhauling Noisy Dell Inspiron 580 MT
I have a 3 ½ year old Inspiron 580 MT Tower: Intel Core i5 Processor 760(2.80GHz) which for the past few months has been increasingly noisy. The sound isnt particularly loud yet is intrusive and to my untrained ear doesnt sound good. It is a continuous grinding/humming sound as if an internal part is having to over work all the time. I have a Dell N5010 laptop that is about 5 years old and has Intel HD Graphics. It is running Windows 7 Home Premium. The highest resolution it will display on the laptop screen is 1366x768. I would like to purchase a monitor so I can use the laptop like a desktop.

Reseting the Win 7 admin password
Recently my Samsung RF 711 was sent to service - new motherboard was installed. I had to re install everthing from scrach. I also set new admin passoword. Righ after that I restarded my pc and it broke sending a message of bootmgr missing. After few days i fixed the problem byt now I can;t remember my password.
