Hey all! Replaced the HDD with a new one and obviously installed a fresh os - windows 7. Didn't move anything over from the old HDD, installed all drivers from the laptop site and no programs except for opera browser, and yet...it is still really slow. Extremely frustrating. If i move fast between tasks, like opening a window or a menu, it takes time to load - the start menu will actually...

We are getting reports that the latest Update for Outlook, KB4461529, is causing Outlook to crash on opening (or to be more precise, on the attempts to Sync after opening) The problem remains even when starting Outlook in Safe Mode. The only solution so far is to uninstall the update (from Installed Updates) - and hide it. This ONLY affects the 64-bit version of...

Hi, First Post At 72 I don'see as well as I used to, but I'm not blind either. I tried enlarging the icons on the computer but it looks ridiculous and hurriedly changed it back to normal. It will stay this way as long as I use the PC. If I am idle for too long - not sure but a few hours - the speed drops again. I am currently using a t-llink wn723N USB adapter, but I have several others...

I have followed the instructions exactly, not connected to PC, same or higher drive on both sides. However, after about 24 hours it appears stuck on 50%. I do not want to disconnect or switch off the dock even though the...

I have four computers in my house, but only two are relevant to the discussion: I have the Bedroom Computer (Which I will call "B") and a gaming room computer (which I will call "A"). I bought an SSD drive for Computer A and it had a 5+ year old install of Windows7 on it, so I wanted to reinstall Windows 7. The problem is, computer A does not have an optical disc drive, so I juggled...
