Full Screen Crosshair (+) WITH x-hair Cursor
I am looking for a windows utility that will make the windows mouse pointer (cursor) a full screen crosshair (+) with 45 degree diagonals (X). I located 2 apps that produce the (+), but I require a cursor that _includes_ the (X) ... (i.e. that appears as one would manually draw an asterisk).

Opera Browser Can't Connect to Internet
I turned our desktop computer (I'm typing on it now) on this morning and found that Opera cannot connect to the Internet. Win 7 will not boot
Before, I get too wild and crazy, I'd like to ask for some advice/confirmation.
We had a power outage/surge during a thunderstorm and our Win 7 Ultimate computer will not boot.
-The computer goes through the POST and then all we see is a flashing cursor on a black screen.

HELP NEEDED: Monitors not working (VGA & HDMI)
My monitor (VGA connection) started going to sleep a couple of days ago and when I turned in my PC today it says no signal. I have also tried plugging a HD TV into it via the HDMI port on my PC but I also get no signal.*

Do I Really Need To Install OEM-Provided LAN Controller Drivers?
I have owned several HP Laptops in the past, and the OEM Support/Driver-Download site usually includes some LAN Driver from either Broadcom or Realtek. My latest acquisition is a circa-2011 HP DV7 Pavillion. Issues in this thread mainly refer specifically to this machine.

Can 2 separate OS on 2 separate drives share 1 Desktop folder?
Okay, so here's my setup:
I have 2 separate Windows installs on 2 separate disks. I don't use dual-boot from 1 drive, I just switch the boot drive in the BIOS menu. It's setup like this:
Disk 1
Partition 1) Windows 7 Ultimate
Partition 2) Desktop + Data Folders for 7
Disk 2
Partition 1) Windows 8.1 Pro
Partition 2) Desktop + Data Folders for 8.1

How do I exit a text box in Word 2007
I inserted a rather large text box w/ 2 - 3 paragraphs. Now I cannot seem to exit and continue the record BELOW the text box. The help instructions say "When you are finished typing and want to switch back to editing text in your document, press SHIFT+F10, choose EXIT EDIT TEXT on the shortcut menu, and press ESC." a pop3 problem with Dreammail
Right now I am using my mobile hot spot on my cell phone to connect my laptop to the internet. A junction box for Frontier Commutations got mowed down by a DUI so no primary internet or house phone.
